The apartment location is perfect for exploring all that Glastonbury has to offer being only two minutes walk from the Abbey, pubs, restaurants, shops, takeaways, public transport and visitors information centre.

Namastay is a well appointed two bedroom apartment set in a quiet courtyard just off Glastonbury High Street. The apartment is decorated to a high standard in a peaceful location but only a thirty second walk from all the delights that Glastonbury has to offer. The main bedroom has a king size bed; the second bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king size on request. 80MBPS broadband with Wifi, Smart TV (with HDMI cable and USB ports) DVD player (in the PS3 console) with over 100 films to choose from, books and games in the lounge. Fully centrally heated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, fan oven, gas hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, smoothie blender, utensils, basic condiments etc. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. I also provide a welcome pack to get you started with bread, butter, milk, cheese and juice- locally sourced where possible.

There is a bath and shower with towels provided, plus shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath.

There is an iron and table top ironing board should you wish to use them, plus a hairdryer, in the master bedroom.

Namastay is not a serviced apartment, but for stays of a week or longer, I'll be happy to provide an extra set of bed linen and towels if requested when booking.

You'll have the apartment to yourself, the courtyard is shared.

We live in Glastonbury so can be available should you need us, otherwise we'll leave you in peace!

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions- my phone number is in on the welcome note ("office hours" preferably!)

Glastonbury is a unique and vibrant town with particular historical attraction. The list of things to see and do is endless and the area is a popular destination for global pilgrims and travellers. There is of course the iconic Tor and the legendary 7th century Abbey, the inspiring White Spring , the ancient and holy Chalice Well, as well as many historical buildings such as the Tribunal building  and St Margaret's Chapel. The town itself is entertaining enough, with lots of interesting and quirky shops and a generous selection of amazing places to dine out. A good starting point is to visit the Glastonbury Information Centre (Magdalene St, next to the Abbey entrance) and check out 'The Oracle' for events, conferences, talks and therapies all on offer year round.

All around Glastonbury, in every direction can be found amazing landscapes, from the rocky cliffs at Cheddar Gorge, to the rolling Mendip Hills and forest woodlands, to the flat wetlands of the Somerset levels and the nature rich Avalon Marshes. If you want to enjoy more local walks, there is the excellent Glastonbury Way, an 8 mile tour taking in key locations and places of pilgrimage around the town and outskirts, or the Glastonbury Mural Trail, taking in over 50 pieces of art that adorn walls in and around the town.

Find out more about Glastonbury here- you can even watch the market cross at the bottom of town via the live webcam. (And maybe during your visit arrange a time to wave at family and friends via the camera!)

30 mins walk or a 5 minute drive/bus journey away is the village of Street, home of the Clarks shoe factory and museum, plus the excellent Clarks Village Shopping centre. Between Easter and the end of August, Greenbank outdoor heated swimming pool is open to the public and well worth a visit.

6 miles in the opposite direction is the medieval Cathedral city of Wells, boasting a variety of shops, 13th Century Cathedral and cosmopolitan café culture.

There is good public transport to surrounding areas including Clark's Village in Street (2 miles), the Cathedral City of Wells (6 miles), Bath, Bristol, Taunton etc.

Also local tours are popular for exploring the area on foot with a guide. During the summer months you can hop on the "Tor Bus" which picks up outside the Abbey, and will drop you at the base of the northern side of Tor. Cycle hire is also available from The Glastonbury Information Centre.

The nearest train station is Castle Cary, approx 15 miles from Glastonbury town, though bus transport links are more frequent from Bristol Temple Meads train station.

There are a few steps leading up to the front door, which guests with reduced mobility may struggle with.

There is no allocated parking with the apartment, but there is lots of unrestricted street parking, and two long stay, low cost car parks very close by. Please do not park in the courtyard of the white cottage next door- this is a privately owned driveway.

Please make your booking for the amount of guests who are staying and let me know for guests in the second bedroom, whether they prefer to share a bed or sleep separately.

A percentage of booking revenue will be donated towards combatting climate change. Namastay climate pledge
